Covid-19 - Our response

Ranger Dave and Steve from Water Eaton Church Centre delivering community larder parcels

 Ranger Mick delivering food parcels

Despite the Covid-19 crisis, we are continuing to provide core services whilst observing government guidelines. This includes managing the dog bins, ensuring our allotments are open (whilst providing guidance to allotment tenants), and carrying out maintenance work throughout our parish.

The Town Council is also working to co-ordinate and deliver support to our residents. Our team are helping to deliver emergency food packs to the community, we are also providing a Food Bank Xtra collection point at Spotlight and supporting other essential services which are helping our community.

We are continuing as many services as possible at this time. If you have an inquiry, please ring our office on 01908 649 469 and leave a voicemail message. A member of staff will get back to you as soon as possible.

We have also created pages on our website where there is information about local organisations and charities and the support that they can offer our residents at this difficult time. There is also a page of suggested activities for all ages, to complete at home during lock down.

Community Larder Parcels

Each week, our Rangers help to deliver over 85 Community Larder boxes to residents in the surrounding area. We are working with Water Eaton Church and SOFEA to provide and support this service.

If you want to know more about the scheme and how, as an organisation or group, you can refer someone for a food box, call 01908 649469 and please leave a voicemail.
