Good news for Newton Leys and the wider Bletchley community!
The application for extension of the operational life of Bletchley Landfill site for a further 15 years was unanimously rejected by Milton Keynes Development Control Committee on Thursday 3rd September 2020.
The Town Council, Newton Leys Residents Association, our Milton Keynes Council Ward members and many residents throughout Bletchley will be pleased that Milton Keynes Councillors listened to the community. Whilst there may still be an appeal, this is good news for our area and we will continue to the oppose the application.
