East West Rail Alliance update - Bletchley piling and road works

The East West Rail Alliance have sent out the following information and update.

- Bletchley Piling
The piling activities will continue to take place in order to build hoarding along the railway and also for the new Bletchley High Level Station. The works will take place every Saturday nights and some midweek nights. Indicative working hours are:
- Saturday: 11:00 am to Sunday 11:00 am
- Midweek: 11:00 pm to 5:00 am or 1:00 am to 4:00 am.
These works will be completed in March 2021.

- Road closures:
Water Eaton Road:
These works are ongoing. Once the construction of the bell mouth is completed, this road will reopen on 15th February 2021.

Buckingham Road:
In order to carry out concrete cutting to the remaining piers adjacent to Buckingham Road, two lanes will be closed overnight from the Brunel shopping centre roundabout, going eastbound to Water Eaton Road.

These works will start from 10:00 pm Monday 15th February to 5:00 am Saturday 28th February 2021. Traffic barriers will be put in place and removed each day as they close and reopen the eastbound carriageway of Buckingham Road. A temporary traffic management diversion will be in place throughout the works for vehicles.

The Westbound carriageway of Buckingham Road, and the footpath from Water Eaton Road to the Brunel shopping centre roundabout, will remain open. Please note that Buckingham Road will remain open on both Sunday 21st and Sunday 28th February 2021.
