We are really excited for the upcoming Jubilee events taking place locally very soon. The Town Council has given several community grants to local organisations and community groups to support their own events, with Town Council Officers also attending to support events on the day including the Bletchley Big Lunch at Leon Rec this Sunday.
- The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Bletchley Big Lunch at Leon Recreation Grounds organised by Local Resident Associations on Sunday 5th June from 1pm-6pm - Town Council gave a £4,000 grant.
- Bletchley Town Bowls Club - Bowls Festival to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee - Friday 3rd June from 2pm, Bletchley Town Bowls Club, Princes Way, Bletchley, MK2 2ER - Town Council gave a £500 grant.
- Bletchley Girl Guides - Jubilee Fun Day which took place on 21st May 2022 - Town Council gave a £750 grant.
- Stony Stratford Lions Club - Jubilee Afternoon Tea for 70 local residents from our area on 21st June 2022 (Already fully booked) - Town Council gave a £1,000 grant.
The Town Council has also planted trees as part of the Queen's Green Canopy.
