Milton Keynes City Council is working with Milton Keynes Islamic Arts and Culture to put on a grand finale to their Festival, which runs from earlier that week. From 6pm on Saturday 8 October 2022, there’ll be free performances and a brilliant light display in the city centre as the grand finale to this year’s City of Codes & Light Festival, to celebrate Milton Keynes becoming a city. Everyone is welcome in the city centre for a family-friendly evening of free live performances and a brilliant light display.

At dusk, expect impressive drumming and kaleidoscopic visuals in a ‘digital light parade’ heading from the Church of Christ the Cornerstone to Station Square, where we’ll have music on stage from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and many others including a special musical headline act to be announced shortly, as well as a brilliant laser show. Find out more on the City of Codes & Light Festival Facebook Event page.
