From 4 September, how Milton Keynes City Council collects waste and recycling is changing as they modernise the service. Most residents will move to wheelie bins, as preferred by three quarters of local people who responded to their consultation. However, as not everyone’s property is suitable for wheelie bins, some residents will continue to use sacks or communal bins.
