The Further Notice below has been received from Milton Keynes Council. Due to the continuation of the A421 dualling project, the A421 will be closed on the following dates and times in order to carry out the necessary works in a safe manner:
• From 8:00pm on Thursday 20th August 2020 to 6:00am on Friday 21st August 2020;
• From 8:00pm on Friday 28th August 2020 to 6:00am on Monday 31st August 2020;
• From 8:00pm on Friday 4th September 2020 to 6:00am on Monday 7th September 2020;
The contingency for the above closure on the 4th September is from 8:00pm on Friday 11th September 2020 to 6:00am on Monday 14th September 2020.
The alternative route will be via A421, Bedford Western Bypass, A428, A422, A509, M1 J14, A509, A4146, H6 Childs Way, V11 Tongwell Street and H8 Standing Way (and vice versa)
