As with previous notifications, East West Rail Alliance would like to inform you of disruptive works which are taking place in Bletchley. They are currently carrying out piling activities on the West Coast Main Line in order to build hoarding along the railway, and to install new overhead line equipment. These works are only permitted to be undertaken when the West Coast Main line is closed due to the proximity to the operational railway. These works are continually reviewed with Milton Keynes Council.
East West Rail Alliance appreciate that these works are disruptive to the local area, and they are doing what they can to minimise the noise by using noise reducing equipment. Works will take place every Saturday night (including some midweek nights) and will be completed by early November. Indicative working hours are:
• Saturday: 11:00 pm to Sunday 11:00 am
• Midweek: 11:00 pm to 5:00 am or 1:00 am to 4:00 am
