The Leon dinosaur is for many residents an important local symbol in our area. This community asset is now in poor condition and was never intended to be a long-lasting public art installation. The Town Council has previously advised in good faith that the dinosaur was the property of Milton Keynes City Council. However, recent oral information has suggested that the Town Council took over the responsibility of the dinosaur when it was moved to its present location from Leon School.
Following recent developments, the Town Council is now working with the City Council on a community consultation. This will be a positive step forward to ensure the maintenance and future of the Leon dinosaur.
