Resumption of Train Services on 20th November

Train services will resume on Monday 20th November 2023.

Initially four services will run in each direction on Monday – Fridays during the morning and afternoon peak periods.  A full rail replacement bus service (all stations and limited stop) will continue to operate at other times.

The Kimberley College Special Buses to Bedford St Johns & Bedford will continue to run in the afternoon only.

The full timetable, including the return of a Saturday & Bank Holiday service, is expected to resume in early 2024 once sufficient train crew have completed their training on the Class 150s.

All of the three units allocated to the Marston Vale Line have recently been refurbished with features including an accessible toilet & baby changing facility, visual and audio announcements, CCTV and USB charging points throughout.  Each train also has dedicated space for wheelchairs, pushchairs and cycles.
