Due to moving to new areas, two councillors, Cllr Michael McDonald and Cllr Sean Porter, have now left the town council after several years of service. The town council would like to thank them for their work throughout this time.

The Leon dinosaur is for many residents an important local symbol in our area. The Town Council has previously advised in good faith that the dinosaur was the property of Milton Keynes City Council. However, recent oral information has suggested that the Town Council took over the responsibility of the dinosaur when it was moved to its present location from Leon School. There is a new emergency alerts system in place that gives the government and emergency services the ability to send alerts directly to mobile phones when there is a risk to life. There will be a national test of the UK Emergency Alerts service on Sunday 23 April 2023.
